Custom gearboxes - reducers
A gear reducer is a transmission device that uses gear combinations to reduce rotational speed and increase output torque. Its principle is to convert the high-speed rotation of the power source into low-speed, high-torque output through the difference in gear ratios between the large and small gears, thereby improving mechanical efficiency and stability.
Common structures include helical gears, worm gears, planetary gears, and spiral bevel gears. Depending on the application requirements, it can be designed as a single-stage or multi-stage transmission. High-precision reducers require precision tooth machining, dynamic balancing design, bearing support, and a high-efficiency lubrication system to ensure long-term durability and quiet operation.
